Sad to say in 1948 Jose passed away, leaving his wife Margherita to carry on his dream on. With large cyclones and floods sweeping in the park through the years, it became increasingly challenging to rebuild and retain the park alive. In 1977 the park was marketed and a fire approximately burnt down
